My Kindermusik Experience
My daughter Ella was born in March of 2010 and I have been a stay at home Mom ever since. Naturally, staying at home most of the time gets a little boring after a while. (There is only so many re-runs of Franklin, Little Bear, & Olivia I can take.) I then decided to enroll us in Baby & Me Yoga. There we met two wonderful Moms and their little ones. And there is where we first heard about Kindermusik. I have always loved to sing and we could tell Ella was going to be very "musical" from early on. We then signed up for Kindermusik with Ann for the "Village" class at IROC. :)
Our class was made up of mothers of varying ages, some familiar faces, and lots of new ones. However, there was one thing they all had in common. They all had little boys. :) Ella was the little girl wearing a pink tutu skirt and a barrette holding her hair straight up on the top of her head like Pebbles Flintstone. She quickly learned how to put those boys in their place if they got "fresh." Ella had her first kiss in Kindermusik. Luckily, a few weeks before our semester was over, another little girl joined the class.
Kindermusik became something we looked forward to each week. We got to sing and dance. Play with friends. And learn about music all at the same time. My daughter has thrived from being in this program!
